Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Sudan is dedicated to the improvement of women's health and rights and to the reduction of disparities in healthcare available to women and new-borns, as well as to advancing the science and practice of obstetrics and gynaecology. The Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Sudan is an independent, voluntary, non-profit, non-political professional association established in the year 1975 to be governed in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this constitution and to spearhead and promote the well-being of women and their children and to raise the standard of practice in obstetrics and gynaecology in Sudan; to play advisory role in policy making pertaining to women's lives and, training of Reproductive and Health Care in Sudan; to promote research and ethical practices. The Society has over 800 members throughout the country. This is the apex fraternity organization of all members of Sudan and beyond. We envisage making this portal a "One-Stop" information dissemination system about OGSSD and its activities.
